Program & Mission

What is the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme?

It is a program of international education designed to help students, aged 11 to 16, develop the knowledge, understanding, attitudes, and skills necessary to participate actively and responsibly in a changing world.

The IBMYP tries to develop life-long learners who are international-minded, who recognize their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, and who help to create a more peaceful world.

The I.B. offers challenging programmes of international education that encourage students to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences can also be right.

Over the past year we have adopted a new digital platform, ManageBac, in order to centralize communication regarding classes as well the school as a whole. This platform has both a student page as well as a parent page, where you will be kept up to date with key information. All students as well as parents will be added into the systems. You will be receiving a welcome email, if you have not already, with the instructions on how to create a password. Our site can be accessed at https://stthomas.managebac.com. For assistance in navigating the platform please consult the following page, https://help.managebac.com/support?manual_id=3621
